Grief stricken, tears cloud the very sight
From nowhere
Those thousand lashes, they came upon
Deafening the ear;
Muffling the sound of the throat
Struck hard
bruised, battered and torn
with hurt
Shoulder laden with weight
Keep walking,
To self at first; then the rest of the World
shout as you may!
The black smoke clears away
That silver lining, that ray of sunshine
blinded at first, warm embrace soon after
It is okay after all
It will all be okay!
