Duly inspired by – a typical weekend, a typical-yet-hugely-entertaining episode of FRIENDS (The one where Phoebe runs)…. Who said the television has to be all bad?
Time and again, lots of people have always said – 'Don't let the kid in you get away'. Even the most serious of people, the angriest of people have, in the least, broken off into a smile over something "silly". There are thousands of videos shared on various portals – of babies "savoring" lemons for the first time ever, of infants laughing their head off over absolute nothing, of bloopers, of animals being funny, and the list goes on. Given a chance, I can recall multiple such instances wherein I laughed so hard that I cried (tears of joy, ofcourse) and not to anyone's surprise, a majority of them were over something "childish" or something "silly"
When was the last time you ran in the rain, trying oh-so much to stay dry, but to no avail, and then spoke about how fast the rain fell? When was the last time you jumped feet first into a pool, splashing water all around – instead of going down the steps? Those who take the steps, try the jump the next time you are at a pool, and splurge in the triumph!J The alternatives always sound boring..
Quoting a somewhat related line from the book "Daddy Long Legs" – 'It isn't the big troubles in life that require character. Anybody can rise to a crisis and face a crushing tragedy with courage. But, to meet the petty hazards of the day with a laugh – I really think that requires spirit!'
